Magnet Lab Food Drive

Thank you to the Magnet Lab for hosting a food drive at their annual open house event on Saturday, February 26!

The event raised 1,670 pounds of food and close to $100 in monetary donations – which helped the food bank distribute 1,608 meals to our hungry neighbors!

The event featured hands-on demonstrations, self-guided tours, and offered an up-close look at the record-breaking 45-tesla hybrid magnet , the 900-megahertz superconducting magnet and other powerful research instruments.
